Moreover, Mrs Trump arrived at the Jubilee lounge of the Kotoka International Airport. The First Lady of Ghana, Rebecca Akuffo-Addo welcomed Mrs Trump with a lovely display of Ghanaian culture through drumming and dancing at the airport.
However, her arrival didn’t generate that kind of euphoria, energy, enthusiasm, and hype when Barrack and Michelle Obama came.
Melania leaves Ghana on October 4 and visit neighbouring African countries Malawi, Kenya, and Egypt. This is to promote the First Lady’s Be Best campaign which she launched in May this year. This campaign is towards promoting the well-being of the youth, preaching against cyberbullying and drug abuse in Africa.
Furthermore, she announced this African tour at a reception for wives of world leaders.
This visit is being organized together with the United States Aid Agency (USAID) and will involve these four countries, described by Mrs Trump as beautiful and different countries in Africa that have work hand in hand with the USAID in various areas.
