The 2018 edition of the Black Star International Film Festival starts from August 11-18. This is the 3rd edition.
This is a week-long event. Furthermore, there are daily film screenings; panel sessions & workshops, an Open Air Cinema, a music concert among others. Moreover, the festival aims at “creating connections through film,” as well as ‘bridging the gap between African cinema and the world.”

First Lady of Ghana, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo Addo was recently unveiled as patron, and the event has consistently attracted high-profile stakeholders from the country and beyond.
